The Africa Assurance Digital Innovation team at EY is hiring an Intermediate Software Developer to design, build, and implement innovative digital solutions. This includes work with technologies like RPA, ML, AI, SharePoint, and Data Analytics to improve operations, productivity, and risk management in the Assurance business.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage agile delivery environments
• Design, develop, test, implement, and support innovative solutions
• Direct software programming and documentation
• Debugging and unit testing
• Collaborate with BAs, PMs, and developers
• Create technical documentation
• Provide support post-implementation
• Guide and review junior developers' code
• Manage projects and ensure quality standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years in software development
• 3+ years leading a development team of 4+ people
• Experience with agile delivery environments
• Skilled in various programming languages and frameworks (egC++, Java, Python, NET, Git, etc)
• Knowledge of ML and AI
• Proficient in using project management tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or Trello
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, APIs, and databases
• Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills
